China Shougang International Trade and Engineering Corporation Logistics Department (SGLog) was established in July 2004. As a successor of Shougang Shipping Company, it currently consists of Ocean Shipping Office, Domestic Transportation Office and Administration Office. Specialized in foreign trade transportation, we offer service in ocean transportation, inland transport and air freight including cargo shipping, vessel chartering, space booking, vanning and devanning, onboard or land labor export, crew training and management, provisions supply and cargo warehousing. We are also provide our customers, such as Beijing Hyundai with warehousing and distribution of spare parts as well as products. Now we are expanding our service scopes to different branches of ocean or inland transportation business.

The experience we have gained from years of shipping of imported iron ore and oversized facilities, along with the COA and the TC charter parties it has fixed with different owners allow us to avoid ocean shipping market risks and to stabilize the transportation cost in long term. In 2006 alone, SGLog performed a total ocean transportation volume of more than 18 million metric tons.

Through reorganization of the land transportation network, we fully explored truck and railway transport resources in Tianjin, Qinhuangdao and Qingdao and succeed in developing several new operation processes such as loading sporadic cars before arraying them within station yard, pendulum truck transport and 2-berth discharging in Tianjing port. The inland transportation quantity of 2006 reached 12.239 million metric tons which is 1.462 million tons more than that of 2005.

Beijing Shou-Rong Forwarding Service Co.,Ltd and Beijing Shou-Hai International Economic & Technology Consultant Service Co.,ltd are jointly invested by SGLD and foreign investors, which have achieved ISO 9002 quality in 1996 and 1997 respectively and then further certified by ISO9000 2000 version in 2002. As a council member of China International Freight Forwarders Association, Shou-Rong ranks in the first hundred leading transportation organizations in China and since 1993, it has been undertaking the shipping of imported iron ore and oversize facilities in overseas projects of ShouGang Group, SGLog's parent company. Shou-Hai is a member of China Coordination Council for Overseas Seaman Employment(COSE).Facing the market with rising labor prices, it aims at developing a crew of its own and increasing personnel onboard rates. In 2006, 255 Shou-Hai crew men serving onboard 11 vessels from various countries and regions represent its rapidly growing ability.

The construction of Caofeidian port in Hebei Province offers it great opportunity.
