China Shougang International Trade & Engineering Corp.( ab.Shougang International ) is a state-owned enterprise approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China in June, 1992, with the registered capital RMB 500 million . Shougang International is an independently - running ,large-scale foreign economic and foreign trade enterprise ,mainly engaging in import and export trade, contractual overseas engineering project, plus modern shi logistics system and comprehensive service, etc, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary and one important member of shougang group . shougang international ranks 117 among 500 Chinese enterprises of the most biggest import-export trading turnover, with the anural turnover more than RMB 37.4 billion.

   The overseas enterprises managed by Shougang International includes shougang Holding (Hangkong)Ltd, shougang Hierro Peru S.A (SHP) and other branches set up in east-south Asia, Europe, Africa, North American, South American etc. Shougang Holding( Hangkong) Ltd.is is a subsidiary and wholly-owned company in Hang kong and a mainstay company for overseas business operation and development of Shougang. It holds four listed companies in Hong Kong, while partial shares of other domestic companies such as Qin Huang Dao shougang sheet Co.ltd. After several years of development, Shougang holding (Hong Kong) Ltd. has successfully formed the Shougang Concord System Group of certain scale, and owns nearly 100 share-holding and mutual share-holding enterprises.

   Shougang Hierro Peru S.A. has 98.4% shares of Hierro Peru Mine and acquired the mine right of exploiting and using, without time limit, all the mineral resources covering 670 square kilometers. It has been proved that SHP's reserve of iron ore is 1.468 billion tons with rich coexistent copper resource and the annual output of it exceeds seven million tons. The products of SHP, which are mainly shipped to Europe, America and Asia markets, include Special High Grade Sinter Feed Concentrate, High Grade Pellet Feed, Blast Furnace Pellets and Direct Reduction Pellets.

   Our company is the general agent of the importation and exportation of Shougang's steel products, mechanical products, electrical products, metallurgical materials, equipment and spare parts, iron mineral products of Hierro Peru S.A. We export hundreds of products including all kinds of steels, nonferrous metals, non-metallic ores, metal products and electromechanical products to more than thirty countries and regions all over the world. The exported steel and iron products alone exceeded two million tons in 2006. Shougang International is one of the main iron ore product importers in China. We have built good relationship with overseas iron ore suppliers and have been importing iron ore from Peru, Australia, Brazil, India and South African. We have also imported metallurgical equipments such as 220 tons converters, Continuous Casters, High-speed Wire Rod Mills, Oxygen Plants, Hot blast Stoves, Gas Desulfuration Plants, Ladle Furnaces, Continuous Hot-dip Galvanizing Lines, Painting Lines, Cold-rolling Mills and Pellet Equipments.

   Though participating in international biddings and market competitions, Shougang International have accumulated rich experiences in undertaking overseas engineering projects independently. Based on comprehensive production management and strength of Shougang, a modernized steel and iron united enterprise, gained from steel and iron making, ore, mechanical and electronic industries, Shougang International became an integrative company with capability of undertaking overseas engineering projects, exportation of whole set equipments and providing package services including equipment design, execution, installation, commission and technical services to our customers. We have undertaken a series of projects such as Nacast blast furnace, the integrated steel plant of SJK Metal Ltd., the integrated steel plant of Bellary steel and Alloys Ltd. in India, the project of bar mill of Master Steel MFG. Co. Ltd. in Indonesia, the project of GXZ 114 HF welded pipe mill in Philippines as well as the overhauling and revamping projects for Ziscosteel No.4 blast furnace and No.1 converter in Zimbabwe, and won an excellent international reputation.

   As a new industry, Shougang International has established a new logistics system including land, railway and ocean transportation. Beijing Shougang International Logistics Co., Ltd, held and managed by Shougang International, is mainly engaged in providing third party logistics service for automaking enterprises such as Bejing Hyundai. Beijing Shourong Forwarding Service Co., Ltd and Beijing Shouhai Economic Technology Consulting & Service Co., Ltd, held and managed by Shougang International, are engaged in the service of international transportation forwarding that takes I/E cargo shipping as their major business as well as the exportation of seamen. Vessels operated by the two companies have been to more than 160 ports distributed in 78 countries globally. Now they are the director member of China International cargo Forwarding Association and the member of China Seaman Export Association respectively.

   Our comprehensive service industry is mainly engaged in the development of real estate, the management of hotels, apartments and office buildings and property services. Shougang International owns high quality properties such as East Lake Villas, Shougang International Building and Kecheng Mansion.
